Palliative Care – was bedeutet das im Alltag?

Wir lesen viel über Palliative Care. Dennoch sprechen wir innerhalb der Familie wenig darüber und wissen nicht so recht, was dies eigentlich genau bedeutet. Wir hören aus dem Umfeld, dass ein Mensch «palliativ ist» und sind ratlos. Ist Palliative Care dasselbe wie Sterben oder «end of life»? Wir klären, dass Palliative Care nicht «Sterben» bedeutet, wie der Alltag zu Hause dadurch beeinflusst wird und wo weitere Informationen und Unterstützung angeboten werden.
