Pro Senectute beider Basel regularly reports on its business activities and is audited by internal and external audit bodies.
The Board of Trustees is the highest governing body. A six-member Executive Board is responsible for day-to-day management. The charitable foundation is subject to the supervision of the Foundation Supervisory Authority of both Basel cantons. We have our foundation subjected to a full audit. The audit confirms that our administrative office also operates an internal control system (ICS), which is likewise part of the annual audit.
