This non-profit organisation works to promote the wellbeing of older people in the cantons of Basel-Stadt and Baselland, fosters solidarity between the generations, and plays a proactive role in shaping social developments.
A motivated and trained team of over 100 permanent staff and 400 volunteers provides a comprehensive range of services across the Basel region, ensuring that older people can continue to live actively and independently in their own homes for as long as possible.
The Board of Trustees is the highest governing body. A six-member Executive Board is responsible for day-to-day management. The charitable foundation is subject to the supervision of the Basel Foundation Supervisory Authority.
