The Electronic Patient Record (EPR) is your personal digital health file. Hospital reports, Spitex records, medication lists, X-rays and your vaccination record – all these documents are stored centrally in one secure location.
You decide who has access. Healthcare professionals and people you trust can view your records at any time if necessary – in an emergency, even if you are unable to communicate.
Our EPD
service On behalf of the Basel-Stadt Department of Health, Pro Senectute of both Basel cantons provides information and advice to older people in Basel-Stadt on all aspects of the Electronic Patient Record (EPD). We support you in setting up your personal EPD and offer practical help with using it.
- Information
We explain in simple, easy-to-understand terms what the EPD is, what benefits it offers and how you can use it. - Supported EPD set-up
We will set up your EPD together with you. If you do not yet have an eID, we will also help you to obtain one – this is required to access the EPD. - First login and orientation
We’ll show you how to log in and guide you step by step through your EPD so that you can use it easily at home later on.
