The new so-called QR invoices have been in circulation since summer 2020. These are the new payment slips featuring a QR code. They will replace the orange and red payment slips on 1 October 2022. You can still make payments using the new payment slip at a post office or bank counter.
You have four options for paying with a QR payment slip:
At the counter: You can still pay
the QR invoice at the post office counter or at a payment terminal.
By post
You can send the QR payment slip to the bank in an envelope together with the payment instruction.
Via online banking (e-banking)
To pay the payment slip via online banking, you must open your e-banking on your computer or laptop. You can then scan the QR code using your computer’s camera or a QR code reader. You can then initiate the payment with a single click in your e-banking.
Via mobile banking
To pay via mobile banking, you must open your bank’s mobile banking app and scan the QR code using the app’s QR code reader. You can then initiate the payment with a single click.
This makes digital payments even easier for all invoice recipients. With the QR code, there’s no need for the tedious task of typing in account and reference numbers. This makes the payment process less prone to errors. Of course, you can still enter the account details manually if you wish.
