Possible symptoms:
- Weakness
- Tiredness
- Dizziness, confusion
- Circulatory problems
- Headache
- Dry mouth
- Muscle cramps
- Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea
Keep a cool head and act immediately:
- Drink plenty of fluids
- Wear light, loose-fitting clothing
- Ventilate rooms at night
- Stay in the shade and avoid the midday sun
- Cool down by placing cold flannels on your forehead and the back of your neck
- Opt for light, refreshing foods such as fruit, salads and vegetables
- Avoid strenuous physical activity
- Store perishable food in the fridge
- In an emergency, contact a doctor or, if necessary, call 144
